Hi there!
A few things about me…
I love all things Vocology and Vocal Pedagogy! I’m an avid consumer of the latest in voice science and music education. Modern technology and increased awareness about motor learning (how we learn to Do) means today’s voice studio is a dynamic, individualized experience.
My performance resumé includes opera, recital, oratorio, and musical theatre in the US and internationally. Companies include: the Carmel Bach Festival, Boston Lyric Opera, Opera Santa Barbara, Ash Lawn Opera, Cantata Singers, Brookline Chorus, Stanford Music Dept. at Bing Concert Hall, and the SF Symphony’s Grammy Award winning recording of Mahler’s 3rd Symphony under MTT.
Some of my classroom experience includes work as a Teaching Artist (Boston Public Schools, greater Boston area) and Early Childhood General Music Educator (Chicago area).
I’m an active member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) SF Bay Area Chapter where I serve on the board. I am also a member of the Music Teachers’ Association of California (MTAC).
I’ve had a private studio since 2004. My students are 13 years old and up.
